The Apologist's Handbook

Effective October 13, 2026 · Last updated 2026-10-13

The short version
  • No accounts, no sign-in, and no personal information collected.
  • Article content is downloaded from a public content host (GitHub).
  • Settings like text size and theme are stored only on your device.
  • No ads and no third-party analytics.

This policy explains how The Apologist's Handbook ("the app") handles information. The app is published by Elevate Entertainment Enterprises.

Information the app collects

None. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, and no forms, and it does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to me.

Information stored on your device

Your preferences (such as text size and theme) and any downloaded article content are stored locally on your device so the app works the way you set it up. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Network requests

To download articles, the app requests content files from a public host (GitHub). Like any website, that host receives standard request information such as your IP address. The app does not send any identifying information with these requests.

Links and sharing

Ads and analytics

The app shows no ads and includes no third-party analytics or tracking tools.

Children

The Apologist's Handbook is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, email me and I will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK, or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information about you, and to object to certain processing. Because most of this app's data never leaves your device, the simplest way to delete it is to clear the app's data or uninstall it. For anything held elsewhere, email ElevateEntertainment@proton.me and I will respond within 30 days. I do not sell your personal information.

Security

Data sent over the network uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but I keep data collection to the minimum the app needs to work.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
